Bill Maher's latest episode of Real Time dove into this issue a lot about simpleton Americans and why they fall for such persona's, especially in the political field. From Fred Thompson's kick ass red pickup truck, to caring to ask worldly questions to a 17 year old Barbie girl who probably still can't get long division.
