Mike Huckabee Not So Scary....Sometimes?

That picture sure is scary!!!

From David Sirota and the NY Times (that you need an account to read), Mike Huckabee said:

"When President Bush agreed with House Democrats on a stimulus package centered on big tax rebates, for example, Mr. Huckabee raised the hackles of supporters of free trade by arguing that the plan in effect subsidized the Chinese manufacturers of imported consumer goods. And he argued that the money would be better spent building roads, bridges and other infrastructure projects at home, irking proponents of limited government."

This is why limited government advocates and libertarians are, well...insane. Taxes are inevitable. They maintain the common good and keep your streets from looking like Karnataka. Note the vast difference between Huckabee's brightly bricked home that probably sits nicely on a paved and properly storm sewered street with this sad, delapited grey structure on dirt. :(

However, Huckabee is for the flat or "fair" tax, as they are calling it now, and we all know how dishonest and stupid that idea is.
